Steady on your feet starts with a steady chain.
Balance depends on the whole chain, from the feet feeling the ground to the neck and eyes keeping you level. When the ankles, hips, or cervical spine stiffen, the body loses information and control, and unsteadiness follows. We find which links are letting you down and correct them, no matter your age.
The symptoms
- Unsteadiness when walking or turning
- Feeling dizzy with neck movement
- Fear of falling or a recent fall
- Holding on to walls or furniture
- Lightheadedness with position changes
The hidden causes
- Stiff ankles and feet that can't sense or react to the ground
- Weak hips and legs
- Cervical spine stiffness affecting balance signals
- Forward head posture shifting your center of gravity
- Inactivity after an illness or injury
Our plan
- Whole-chain assessment, including balance, and walking
- Hands-on correction of neck, spine, hip, and ankle restrictions
- Balance, strength, and reaction training
- Fall-prevention strategies for home and daily life
- A home program and tune-up plan to keep you steady
The principleRestore the links that keep you upright, and confidence on your feet comes back.
Above and below balance & dizziness.
Your body moves as one connected chain, from the ankle and foot to the cervical spine. Red marks the link that usually ends up working too hard; blue marks the links we most often find stiff.
See a doctor first if you have:
- Sudden dizziness with slurred speech, facial droop, or weakness
- A severe headache with dizziness
- Dizziness after a head injury
- Fainting or chest pain
- Sudden hearing loss
For a medical emergency, call 911.
Can neck problems make me dizzy?
They can. The cervical spine sends important position signals to the brain. When it's stiff or irritated, some people feel unsteady or dizzy with neck movement. We'll check whether your neck is part of the picture.
Am I too old to improve my balance?
No. In our experience, balance can improve at any age with the right corrections and training.
Will I need to keep coming back?
Not forever. Once the chain is corrected and your body knows what normal feels like, most people simply come in for occasional check-ups and tune-ups to catch small problems early.
